Bosch Coffee Maker

1. Type of Brew

Bosch Tassimo coffee maker offers about 40 different flavors of hot beverages comprising coffee, tea, hot chocolate, espresso, cappuccinos and lattes.

These beverages are made using its T-Discs.

The Bosch machine appeals to strong coffee drinkers as beverages brewed are full-bodied, owing to the bar code technology on the T-Discs that enable the machine to adjust the temperature, amount of water, and brew time to meet the special needs of each drink.

2. Size

The Bosch coffee maker fits snugly in most kitchen counter tops (assuming you have a space of 17-inches between the counter top and the upper cabinets).

Our advice though is to ensure that you place it within easy accessibility to water for refilling.

3. Easy to Use and No-Fuss Clean Up

Generally, single-serve coffee machines appeal most to busy working individuals or those with small families.

Bosch coffee maker is especially appealing for its ease of use. You get your favorite cuppa just at a touch of a button. As everything that you need to make that drink is contained in the T-Discs, there’s really not much cleaning up to do after.

Should You Go for Bosch Coffee Maker?

Whether you decide to go for a Bosch coffee maker or any other brand, we believe that if you decide on getting a single-serve coffee maker, you might want to put these issues into consideration:

1. Functionality
Ask yourself whether you would like your machine to churn just coffee, or other types of drinks like tea or espresso. Will you be serving your friends/family who may have different tastes in hot beverages?

2. Power

This may be a minor point to some but power of a machine reflects its ability in brewing temperature and speed in preparing the beverages. Recommended would be between 1,200 to 1,500 watts.

You might also want to look for on/off setting for the sake of energy savings in case the machine is not going to be in use when you’re away.

3. Size of Brew Cups

Another thing to look for is the sizes of cups that the machines allow you to use. Some machines offer just one size cup but others like Tassimo and Keurig enable you to brew from the smaller cups like 3,25 oz. to larger ones for travel mugs like 11.25 oz.

Different cup option would enable you to try out different brew strengths.

Water reservoir, another point that might be overlooked, would play a part, especially if you have two or three adults making beverages from the same machine. Having larger water reservoir negates the need to re-fill too often.
