I have to admit - I wasn't really into juicing
fruits or vegetables. I had always thought that if it's easier to just
eat them, why bother juicing them?
However, one day, I
visited a good friend of mine, who considers juicing part of her
lifestyle. She treated me to a blend of green apple, carrot and
cucumber. I had never concocted this 'potion' myself - you know, not
having any juicer of my own and all. But I was surprised at myself - I
liked what she made me. Naturally, I pin it down to the combination of
the fruit and two types of vegetables.
Instead, my friend
convinced me that it was more than that. Juicing is not just juicing,
according to her. Getting the right juicer is the key to savouring the
juice that you squeeze out of your favorite fruits or vegetables. She

When I finally bought a unit of my own, I began to
appreciate the benefits the juicer gave me. I learnt that as the
Omega J8006 has a rotation speed of 80 RPMs, there is no foam
build-up and very little clogging.
Of course, with any new gadget, I got really excited and began
experimenting on the capabilities of my newly-acquired machine. I
realized that I do not have to use a whole bag of oranges to make
pitches of the juice. I got to reap the wholesome goodness of the juice (and share with others)
without having to use many whole fruits.
I can't say that
drinking juice made from this machine does not involve work. In fact, I
spend some time preparing my ingredients before I can enjoy the fruits
of my labour. You see, the feeding tube of the Omega J8006 is
relatively smaller than other juicers. However, it is this sheer size
that results in more juice being squeezed out at the other end.
If you look at the price of this juicer, you might fret that it's
expensive. Well, I thought the same too. Concurrently, I took the time
to consider its benefits. As I account for the fact that I didn't have
to use whole bag of oranges to enjoy pitchers of the juice, I concluded
that it has to be one of its long-term benefits. Besides, it is a
sturdy machine,
made to last. The 10-year warranty just affirms my belief that it is a
juicer I can trust - in a long time to come.
As I said, I was not really a
proponent of juicing as I had preferred to eat whole fruits and
vegetables. But now that I juice regularly (actually almost daily as I
enjoy the tastes of different fruit/vegetable variations), I honestly
can't imagine my life without the Omega J8006 Masticating Juicer!
